1. What do I need to buy a gun in Ohio?

You need a valid, government-issued photo ID. Buyers must be 18+ for rifles/shotguns and 21+ for handguns. A background check is also required.

2. Do I need a background check to buy a firearm?

Yes. All purchases from licensed dealers require a federal background check through the NICS system, unless you have a valid Ohio CCW.

3. Can I buy a gun same-day in Ohio?

Yes—if you pass the background check and meet legal age and residency requirements, you can typically take the firearm home the same day.

4. Do you accept firearm transfers from online dealers?

Yes. We handle FFL transfers for firearms purchased online. Our transfer fee is $25 for the first serial number and $5 for each additional serial number on same invoice. if they are different invoices from seperate businesses then it will be $25 per serial number

5. Can I sell or trade in my used gun?

Absolutely. We buy and trade used firearms. Bring your gun in for an appraisal—please bring a valid ID.

6. Do you offer layaway or financing on firearms?

We currently do not.

7. What types of firearms do you sell?

We carry handguns, shotguns, rifles, AR-style platforms, hunting rifles, and home-defense firearms from top brands like Glock, Ruger, SIG Sauer, and more.

8. What ammo do you carry?

We stock a wide selection of ammunition: 9mm, .45 ACP, .223/5.56, .22 LR, .308, 12-gauge, and more. Call us for availability and bulk pricing.

9. Do you offer CCW (concealed carry) classes?

We do not at this time.

10. Can I buy a gun as a gift for someone else?

You can, but the recipient must complete the background check. “Straw purchases” are illegal—talk to us about gift cards or proper gifting methods.

11. Can I carry a loaded firearm in my car in Ohio?

Yes, Ohio allows permitless carry as of 2022, but there are still specific laws about where and how you carry in vehicles. Ask us for current info or check Ohio laws.

12. Can I open carry in Ohio?

Yes. Open carry is legal in most public spaces in Ohio. However, private property owners and some municipalities may restrict it.

13. Do you do gunsmithing or custom work?

We offer basic gunsmithing and cleaning in-store. For advanced services (cerakoting, barrel threading, trigger upgrades), we work with a certified partner.

14. Can I order a specific gun if it’s not in stock?

Yes. We can special order most firearms and accessories. Let us know the make and model and we’ll provide a quote and timeline.

15. What’s the difference between an AR-15 and a rifle?

An AR-15 is a type of semi-automatic rifle. It’s modular and customizable, and it's legal to own in Ohio with no special permit required.

16. Are there magazine capacity limits in Ohio?

No, Ohio does not currently restrict magazine size for civilian use. Federal laws still apply.

17. Do you sell accessories like holsters, optics, and safes?

Yes! We carry a full range of gear including scopes, red dots, bipods, cases, safes, holsters, and cleaning kits.

18. Do you offer discounts for military or law enforcement?

Yes. We proudly offer discounts to active duty, veterans, and LEOs. Please bring valid credentials at checkout.

19. Is it legal to own a suppressor or short-barreled rifle (SBR) in Ohio?

Yes, with proper federal paperwork and a tax stamp under the NFA (National Firearms Act). We can help guide you through the process.
