Just Another Gun Shop is a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) located in New Richmond, Ohio. By purchasing firearms, firearm accessories, or National Firearms Act (NFA) items from our store or through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Federal and Ohio Firearm Laws
All firearm sales conducted by Just Another Gun Shop are subject to applicable federal, Ohio, and local firearm laws.
Customers must comply with all laws governing the purchase, transfer, possession, and use of firearms and regulated items.
By purchasing from Just Another Gun Shop, you certify that you:
• Are legally eligible to purchase and possess firearms
• Are not prohibited under federal or Ohio law from owning firearms
• Will comply with all applicable firearm laws in your jurisdiction
Customers are responsible for understanding and following all laws that apply to them.
Age Requirements
Federal law requires that customers must be:
• 21 years of age or older to purchase handguns from a licensed dealer
• 18 years of age or older to purchase rifles or shotguns from a licensed dealer
Additional restrictions may apply under certain circumstances.
Background Checks
All firearm transfers completed through Just Another Gun Shop require a background check as required by federal law.
Customers must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass the required background check prior to taking possession of any firearm.
If a background check results in a denial, the firearm cannot be transferred.
Transfer fees remain non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the background check.
Firearms Purchased Online
Firearms purchased through our website or other online retailers must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer for transfer.
If a firearm is shipped to Just Another Gun Shop for transfer:
• The customer must complete all required paperwork
• A background check must be conducted
• Transfer fees will apply
If the customer declines the transfer or fails the background check, the firearm must be returned to the original seller. Return shipping costs may apply.
National Firearms Act (NFA) Items
Certain firearms and accessories are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA).
These items include, but are not limited to:
• Suppressors / Silencers
• Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR)
• Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBS)
• Machine Guns
• Any Other Weapon (AOW) devices
Purchasing an NFA item requires approval from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
The process generally includes:
• Completion of ATF Form 4
• Fingerprint submission
• Passport-style photograph
• Federal background check
• ATF approval prior to transfer
NFA items remain in the possession of Just Another Gun Shop until ATF approval has been granted.
Approval times may vary and can take several months depending on ATF processing times.
NFA Tax Stamp
As of January 1st 2026 there is a $0 federal tax stamp issued by the ATF.
Customers are responsible for any required federal tax stamp fees and related documentation associated with NFA transfers.
Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any firearm, accessory, or NFA item purchased is legal to own in their state and local jurisdiction.
Just Another Gun Shop cannot provide legal advice regarding firearm laws outside of Ohio.
Customers are encouraged to research and understand their local firearm laws prior to making a purchase.
Firearm Safety Responsibility
Firearm ownership carries significant responsibility. Customers are expected to handle and store firearms safely.
We strongly encourage:
• safe firearm storage
• proper firearm handling
• firearm safety training
• responsible firearm ownership
Limitation of Liability
Just Another Gun Shop is not responsible for the misuse, negligent use, or illegal use of firearms or firearm-related products purchased from our store.
Customers assume full responsibility for the lawful use, storage, and handling of any firearm or regulated item they purchase.
