The SureFire Warden Direct Thread Blast Regulator for 5.56 and 7.62 mm firearms is designed to direct the concussive blast of the fired round forward, away from the shooter, without venting gas to the sides like standard muzzle brakes. This helps reduce overpressure felt by others immediately to the left or right of the shooter. It also minimizes any dust signature when firing from a prone position. The Warden gives a sleek look to any weapon with a 1/2X28 or 5/8X24 threaded barrel, protecting the barrel’s exposed threads from damage or fouling instead of a flash hider or muzzle brake. Unlike sound suppressors, Wardens are not NFA items and are available wherever SureFire products are sold, with no restrictions typically associated with suppressors.
